The DevOps Engineer is responsible for deploying and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and configuring CI/CD pipelines to support application delivery and infrastructure deployment.

• Deployment and management of AWS cloud infrastructure and platform services, including creation of containerized deployments and infrastructure hardening.
• Configure infrastructure hardening and security monitoring tools for compliance with HIPAA by implementing NIST SP 800-53.
• Development of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation using CloudFormation, Terraform, Serverless Framework, or AWS SAM.
• Creation of CI/CD automation including development of supporting code (e.g., Lambda Functions), adhering to configuration management practices for software assurance.
• Configure system maintenance (e.g., automated patching) and monitoring automation. Troubleshoot production issues in cloud-based environments by engaging support teams and formulating action plans.
• Implement system security controls including security monitoring and infrastructure hardening. Address government security requirements, review and change management processes.
• Monitor cloud billing, analyze usage trends, and implement automated alerts to keep management informed about current costs and potential savings opportunities.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Electronics & Communications Engineering, or a related field, plus 4 years of experience in related occupations.

• 4 years — AWS cloud infrastructure management.
• 4 years — AWS cloud infrastructure deployment using IaC: CloudFormation, Serverless Framework, or AWS SAM.
• 4 years — CI/CD automation including configuration management and software assurance.
• 4 years — Cloud operations and production support.
• 3 years — AWS network configurations: Virtual Private Cloud / Subnets, Transit Gateway.
• 3 years — Implementing cloud security compliance controls for HIPAA and NIST SP 800-53 environments.
• 3 years — AWS cost monitoring and optimization.
• Must have permanent authority to work in the United States.
